The Poisonwood Bible is one of the best books I've ever read. I hate jumping on any of Oprah's club wagons, but this book....wow...this book. It took me a month to get past Genesis but after that I was riveted. I also used to live in Kenya, so I could really picture the world which the author so vividly portrayed...enjoy, and push through it is so worth it...
